In this module, you plan, configure, and implement data connections using Segment's Connections feature.
 
  • Analyze and document key sources and destinations, review nuances, and map out the configuration for each planned destination.
  • Review strategy, get sign off, and prepare the team for implementation by understanding the destinations, data to be sent, and system architecture.
  • Recognize the challenges of implementing sources and destinations simultaneously, and identify alternative approaches for non-existent sources and destinations.
  • Add destinations and sources to the Context tab, set up development sources, configure development destinations, and understand the importance of keeping data separate across different environments.
  • Access and explore content related to client-side and server-side tracking, data connection modes, warehouse data activation, and various documentation resources.
